Description
Photo of American bandleader Paul Whiteman by a car. On reverse: "ATTENTION AUTOMOBILE EDITOR FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PAUL WHITEMAN IN NEW ROLE Like many another successful man who finds relaxation and zest in some hobby far removed from his chosen field, Paul Whiteman, world famous band leader, has taken up farming. On a 50-acre farm near Rosemont, N.J., he is realizing an ambition he has harbored ever since he was a boy in the west, raising prize horses and steers. Mr. Whiteman takes an active part in the operation of his place which he calls 'Walking Horse Farm.' He occupies a large stone house on the farm. Every bit of tillable land is cultivated, incidentally. Mr. Whiteman, minus some of his famous avoirdupois, is shown above with two of his Ford V-8 farm trucks. Additional 'rolling stock' includes a Lincoln-Zephyr ca and a deluxe trailer for carrying show horses."
