Mr Ferguson made similar libelous statements about at the public ? In Texas which the libel laws will not permit us publishing meanwhile Mr Carter has moved this feature and instructed the paper us to publish Mr F statement realizing the public has a send of humor Mr Ferguson wil then wake up to the fact that the public are far more intelligent than he has given them credit for (He wh? the Gods would destroy They first make mad? Mr Ferguson seems to be on his way - Mr F thinks any one who would holler hurrah for Dan Moody is either drunk or crazy and far he has not accused Mr Carter of being crazy so he thinks he must of been drunk If the usual case discount can be taken on most of Mr Fergusons statements on July 4th when the final votes are counted and Mr Ferguson is relegated to the political discard Texas can then hold its head up and look the world in the face without shame embarassment or apology. Mr. Carter call Star Te office and call for Mr Frank Tillman
