- The opening of the Greater Fort Worth International Airport. A group of cowboys are riding horses outside of the airport terminal. A large number of spectators are standing or seated in chairs watching the proceedings. In the foreground is the Carswell Air Force Base Band. In the distance there are two parked airplanes. The airport is also known as the Greater Southwest International Airport and Amon Carter Field.
