Description
Poster depicting a sign for Amon Carter Field, also known as Greater Fort Worth International Airport, named after Amon Giles Carter, which opened in 1953. The airport was later renamed Greater Southwest International Airport. The sign consists of an arrow reading "Airport Texas," and beneath that "Amon Carter Field." The poster is drawn and colored to look like a blue and white neon sign.
