- Some Horned Frog fans who crowded onto the observation platform of the Star-Telegram's 12-car special train as it pulled out of the Texas and Pacific Station Tuesday morning, bound for San Francisco and another Texas Christian University (TCU) - Santa Clara football game. Included in the group shown waving farewell are, left to right (seated): Dan D. Rogers, Dallas, Amon Carter, Dr. Webb Walker and Bess Coughlin, all of Fort Worth. The three fair Horned Frog boosters shown together are left to right, Misses Emilie Mae Bass, Josephine Walker, and Ethleen Reimers. Miss Walker is the daughter of Dr. Walker and the others are two of the season's debutantes.
